Every employees expectation become very complex after this panademic situation and employers too faced so many challenges during this situation. Whilst reacting to this has been a steep and arduous learning curve for many, a good number of benefits and improvements to these new ways of working have now come to the fore; including greater flexibility, inclusion and work-life balance, as well as a heightened focus on wellbeing. Things that employees have desired for decades, but simply couldn’t achieve pre-pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed employees and employers expectations. Employees has a clear picture of what a ‘better normal’ looks like. The shift towards flexibility, lifelong learning and multi-dimensional leadership will only be fully realised if enabling structural changes are made. It’s therefore vital that employees, employers, and policymakers share the responsibility of shaping a new working model. We have a rare window to do so.
