How I get benefits from my network

Networking isn't merely the exchange of information with others. Networking is about establishing and nurturing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with the people I meet in my professional and personal life. Spending time and developing meaningful relationships with people in industries or roles similar to is more than just helpful, it’s essential to my personal and professional development. Active networking has helped to enhance my relations and friends. As a manager, I have to build long-term relationships and reputations over time with my customer. More than 9 years with Kanrich Finance It involves meeting and getting to know people who can assist me and who can potentially help in return.

Baker (2000) describes social capital as the resources available to an individual as a result of his or her personal relationships. Networking is a key human capital skill that is unique in its ability to increase an individual’s social capital. In the next section, we define networking and show how improving this aspect of human capital can positively enhance an individual’s social capital.

My network includes everyone from friends and family to work colleagues and members of the group to which I belong. As a lady, I have always limited my social media presence but I try to maintain an effective network through my social media accounts such as Facebook, Linked In, and Instagram.

 How I enhance my personal knowledge using the network.

Support and guidance: When looking to earn a promotion or find a new job, my personal network is a great resource to find the support I need during my career journey. Those who are close to me may be able to give helpful advice or even boost my confidence.

Exposure to career opportunities: Connecting with fellow professionals is a smart way to find new career opportunities. My close contacts may be able to tell me about an exciting new position at their company or even give me a referral.

Personal and professional development: Being close to a group of people in similar roles as I am a great resource for my career. They might know about different events, courses, or training that can help me move forward in my career. I always trying to find a new relationship with my network. I have been an active member of my old school association its main objective is to join the alumina offering the broader networking scope. Joining my school’s alumina associate is a good way to get there by connecting with my old school friends.

Skill is enhancing my personal development

Networking will help me to develop and improve my skill set, stay on top of the latest trends in my industry, keep a pulse on the job market, meet prospective mentors, partners, and clients, and gain access to the necessary resources that will foster the career development.

Healthy relationships may have motivated my morals always. The working relationship helps me to enhance my capacity. By getting to know peers and friends understanding help me to build effective leadership and a team satisfying environment. Building positive relationship often provides increased resources to help me to get my job done and to be more efficient. I will enjoy greater satisfaction at my workplace. For these reasons growing my work relationship is a component of leadership development. Networking can improve individuals’ social capital by influencing

(1)The size of their social networks 

(2) The strength of their relationships in the social network

(3) Their pattern of relationships in their social network

(4) The resources of their social network (Forret, 2006).

I was a member of a few WhatsApp groups it has helps me to keep my network with my pees very actively their share videos, article, Networking is about sharing, not taking. It is about forming trust and helping one another toward goals. Regularly engaging with my contacts and finding opportunities to assist them helps to strengthen the relationship. By doing this, I sow the seeds for reciprocal assistance when you need help to achieve your goals.

Even though networking is highly beneficial for one’s career, many individuals seem to find the idea of networking uncomfortable or intimidating (de Janasz et al., 2006).

The network can be an excellent source for new perspectives and ideas

Connecting with my university colleges we have exchange our information’s own experiences, challenges, and goals is a key benefit to me to networking because it allows me to gin the new insights that may not be excellent. As an active member of my university group we have formed the community helps to the orphanage during the COVID 19 periods. Similarly, offering helpful ideas to a contact is an excellent way to build my reputation as an innovative thinker.

Raised Profile

Being visible and getting noticed is a benefit of networking that’s essential in career building. Regularly attending professional and social events will help to get my face known. It can then help to build my reputation as knowledgeable, reliable, and supportive by offering useful information or tips to people who need it.

Forret and Dougherty (2001) found that those who were extroverted and had higher self-esteem were more likely to maintain their external contacts, engage in professional activities, and take steps to de enhance their visibility in their organizations.
